Going to COP30? Come see a preview of ResilienceArc - A world-first breakthrough in corporate transparency for climate risk and adaptation

(São Paulo, 6 November 2025) - XDI (Cross Dependency Initiative) is excited to announce a major step forward in corporate climate transparency.
Together with partners Climate Arc and Earth Capital Nexus at the London School of Economics (LSE), we’re providing a preview of ResilienceArc - a ground-breaking platform that helps investors see which companies are truly ready for a changing climate.
ResilienceArc will be showcased by our partners, Climate Arc, at the Climate Innovation Forum (São Paulo, 6–8 Nov 2025), a key COP30-associated event. Visit the Climate Arc stand for a first look or contact XDI to arrange a demo.
“Transparency, comparability and accessibility are essential if investors are to distinguish between rhetoric and reality. This partnership provides a world-first connection between quantified, asset-level physical-risk analysis and AI models that identify corporate adaptation actions and model their impact on risk and resilience,” said Dr Karl Mallon, CEO and Director of Science and Technology at XDI.
“The XDI partnership with Climate Arc and the London School of Economics (LSE) is a breakthrough in the transparency of high precision data.”
What is ResilienceArc?
ResilienceArc harnesses XDI’s global physical-risk intelligence, drawing on data for thousands of companies to assess how exposed businesses are to extreme weather and how credible their adaptation plans really are. This is combined with a framework, developed in partnership with researchers from the Earth Capital Nexus at LSE, to analyse corporate disclosures and extract information about resilience actions. Using a large language model, the framework scans public filings to answer specific indicator questions. The data is surfaced and displayed via Climate Arc’s open-access platform, so results are decision-ready and credible.
This beta preview features analysis drawn from 250 global companies and is the first public benchmark of its kind. It is designed to align with emerging global disclosure standards, including TCFD, TNFD, IFRS, ISSB and the EU’s CSRD.
“ResilienceArc responds directly to investor demand for independence, transparency and comparability in assessing both corporate exposure to climate hazards and the credibility of adaptation plans. The platform enables investors, financiers and companies to benchmark performance against peers and assess whether a business is on a pathway to resilience,” said Dr Mallon.
Unlike conventional ratings systems that operate behind closed doors, ResilienceArc’s methodology is transparent and open-access, providing high-resolution asset-level computation and clear pathways for users to interrogate underlying data.
Dr Karl Mallon said the collaboration demonstrates the growing momentum to integrate physical risk and adaptation into transition finance.
“ResilienceArc bridges the gap between physical risk and transition analysis, enabling financial decision-makers to see clearly where companies stand on their journey to resilience,” he said.
